Cardamom Conditioner
Cardamom is rich in Vitamin C and minerals like potassium, zinc and magnesium. As a result, it helps strengthen hair follicles and boosts hair growth. Cardamom may protect your hair from environmental aggressors in part because of the antioxidants it contains, which fight against the damage caused by free radicals.
Cardamom, apart from lending a delightful taste and pleasant aroma to culinary dishes and desserts, offers amazing health benefits to our skin and hair.
Cardamom contains various essential minerals like potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and zinc as well as important antioxidants, all beneficial for a damaged scalp and encouraging the growth of healthy hair.
The Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties of cardamom help curing light scalp infections. Cardamom nourishes the hair follicles, providing strength to hair, resulting in dense, shiny and better-looking hair.
Locally produced Coconut oil is purchased from the community in the proximity of our farm in Takaungu, Kenya, thus supporting sustainable farming and fair trade. Coconut-, Baobab- & Macadamia Nut Oil are all stuffed with healthy omega-3 fatty acids along with vitamin A, C, D and E as well as crucial fatty acids making them perfect ingredients to repair, strengthen and moisture dry hair. Especially Baobab oil protects from damage caused by environmental stressors such as pollution, free radicals and UV rays.
Shea- & Cocoa Butter help reduce hair loss and repair dry, damaged hair, preventing further damage by adding lubrication to the strands and reducing breakage. They add strength by penetrating deep into the hair structure sealing cuticles, locking in water and nutrients and fortifying the hair.
Squalane effectively moisturizes and hydrates brittle and dry hair, making it softer, giving it a silky-smooth texture and making it more manageable. Similarly, it penetrates the hair shaft, providing moisture to the cuticles and reaching the cortex (inner hair layer). Squalane oil tames fly-aways and frizz by reducing static and smoothening the hair cuticles.
D-Panthenol is good for damaged hair because it can smooth out the imperfections in the hair shaft. In our body Panthenol is converted to vitamin B5, which has anti-inflammatory properties that aid in the reparative process of damaged hair.
Lots of Cardamom oil as well as Tea Tree and Rosmarin oil are powerful boosters for new hair growth and lend this conditioner its fresh and revitalizing scent.
How to use:
- Wash/wet your hair.
- Stroke your conditioner bar over your hair a few times until you feel that it has reached most parts. Since our solid conditioners do not contain harmful ingredients that could block your pores or irritate your skin and their healthy ingredients are especially good for your hair follicles and scalp, we recommend that you gently massage the conditioner into your hair the same way you normally wash your hair. This allows you to benefit from the full spectrum this product offer you.
- Rinse out (the longer you wait, the more intense the treatment, so give it some time).
- Leave the bar out to air dry, ready for its next use.
Why conditioner bar and not liquid conditioner?
- Unlike traditional liquid conditioners that often contain harsh chemicals like SLS, Paraben, Alcohol, Silicones etc. that will strip your hair of its natural oils and cause dryness and irritation, we chose conditioner bars that are made with natural ingredients that are gentle to your hair and scalp.
- Solid conditioner bars are self-preserving, which is especially appreciated when you consider that many preservatives are suspected to be harmful.
- Reduce your carbon footprint! There is no need for a plastic bottle, instead, we only pack our conditioner in a thin box made of recycled cardboard that takes up much less space on your bathroom shelf.
- Children find it easier to handle the bar and tend to use less than liquid conditioner.
